Recovery: Slow and Steady

Posted in Thoughts

This is definitely one of those times when slow and steady wins the race. My recovery is going well. D and Munchkin are doing a good job of taking care of me and not allowing me to do too much too fast. We’re getting ready to head out in a few minutes. I have to check in at 9:15 this morning. Munchkin will spend the day at a friend’s house. D will be getting caught up on a lot of reading while my surgery is taking place. I’ll update when I can. Until then, have a enjoyable Thanksgiving week!!

Now, Munchkin is moving on to basketball…

One of the first things that he wanted to do was install a new floor in our living room/hallway. We were able to find some really nice flooring inexpensively thanks to a clearance and military discount. He did a wonderful job!! What a difference it makes in how the house looks. Now, we just need to get the house put back together. lol! I’ve been working on things here and there, but…
