Moving Along

We’ve had two good days of traveling so far. We’ve traveled through Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and now we’re in Georgia. The weather has been good for driving. Munchkin has gone decided to ride some with Mommy and then some with Daddy. I’m taking pictures along the way, but I’m unable to upload them at this time. The campgrounds that we’ve stopped at thus far have been really nice. Our current campground could easily be a nice long stay due to the beauty of the area and activities available. The Adventure Begins

Munchkin’s last baseball game was rained out, so we’ll just be heading over to pick up her trophy today before we leave. We’re all packed up. We’ve done the final check on the house. We’re ready to go.One of the cranes decided to stop by to say goodbye. Well, I’m sure the crane wasn’t actually saying goodbye, but it was cool that it decided to hang out right by us this morning. The Clock is Ticking

It’s hard to believe in a few days we’ll be saying goodbye to this place we have called home for 2 years. Most of the time, it was just Munchkin and I, but we have enjoyed this place. We’re not sure why the Lord chose to lead us here for such a short time, but we know that we’ve been blessed by the people we’ve met and the places we’ve gone while here. It’s a Beautiful Day!

Yesterday, I was able to finish up with all of the painting which meant a more relaxing day today. The thunderstorms that rolled through last night cooled things off a bit, so the weather was absolutely wonderful for Munchkin’s baseball game. As we approach the last game of the season (next Saturday), we can see how much the kids have grown in their baseball knowledge and skills. Munchkin has gained a new found love of the game. Painting, Painting, and More Painting…

Over the weekend, we went and visited family in North Carolina. Munchkin enjoyed playing with her cousins and her Grandma for a few days. We know that once we move these times will be far less frequent. We’ve been taking advantage of these opportunities as much as possible. We arrived home on Tuesday and received some news about the sale of our house (not good). I had planned on getting the trailer organized this week, and getting back to a more normal schedule with Munchkin’s schooling. The news changed all of that. To make a long story short, I had…
