A New Rescue Horse

Earlier this week, I received a call from an animal shelter. They had a horse who needed a new home – fast. (They had contacted the rescue last week, and I left a few messages but due to illness we hadn’t heard anything back until that point.) Grandma and Grandpa were a few hours away from us at a conference, so they decided to stay a few extra days and take a bit of a detour over our way. Horse Training: No More Flops

After a couple of weeks of training with Phantom, today was the day that I would finally attempt to sit on his back.
