Fall Festival at the Ranch

This month’s community outreach for the horse rescue was a fall festival where the kids could go trick-or-treating on horseback. It was a unique opportunity that was a big hit for both the regulars at the ranch as well as kids from the community. Another fun activity was a costume contest for both people and their horses. Yesterday, on the way over to the ranch, Munchkin and I decided that we would pick up some pumpkins to carve. Since a few of Munchkin’s friends were at the ranch this week, it seemed like the perfect time to carve pumpkins as it’s always more fun to do such activities with friends. Our 2013 Valentine’s Day

Normally, I try to surprise Munchkin with some fun Valentine’s Day goodies and decorations when she comes downstairs in the morning. Unfortunately, those plans had to be set aside when our wireless router went haywire and stopped working. The good news was that the internet itself was working, but the bad news was that it took me a good chunk of the morning to get the router back up and running.
