As you already know, we drove up to Michigan for our Christmas vacation this year, so we could spend Christmas with our families for the first time in many years. A lot of planning went into making this all come together as there were a good number of people involved. I’m dreaming of a white Christmas…. Little did we know that our arrival in Michigan would trigger several days of snow. The snow started falling on Christmas Eve, and we enjoyed a good bit of snow while we were there. Munchkin had a blast playing in the snow with her cousins.

Instead of heading straight up to Michigan for Christmas, we stopped by the cabin. We needed to check in on the progress (or lack thereof as it turned out) of the work, and it was a better starting point for the trip. Munchkin didn’t know it, but Daddy and I thought it would be fun to surprise her by celebrating Christmas at the cabin.
