Project 365 – #148 Here in Arizona, we can grill pretty much year around, but the summer heat seems to beckons us to grill as it keeps the stove/oven from heating up the house.  I love tossing veggies on the grill either with some chicken (or other meat) or by themselves.  It’s fun to think of the grill as our outdoor kitchen and try to expand the possibilities of what goes on the grill. Gluten Free Pancakes with Warm Blackberry Puree

Project 365 – #146 For D’s first official day back to work, I decided to make up some apple cinnamon pancakes. To make them just a little more special, I took some of our juicy blackberries and created a puree. First, I tossed a couple of cups of blackberries into the blender. I added roughly 1/4 cup of orange juice and a little honey for sweetener. Once it was all nicely blended, I placed it in a small sauce pan to warm it up.
