Phantom’s Training: Backing Up and Yielding Forequarters

We were thrilled to have Daddy home with us a couple of weeks ago which meant that we not only tackled a few projects that needed to get done, but we also put some good time into training the horses. On Sunday, Daddy and Munchkin worked with getting the horses comfortable with going in and out of the horse trailer as they had an appointment with the vet on Monday night. Dolphin and Whale Watching at Dana Point

When we heard that Grandma and Grandpa were going to be in CA, we started to schedule a time for us to get together. They thought it would be really cool if we could go on a Dolphin and Whale Watching boat tour, so on Sunday morning, we headed over to meet them. We had a blast even though it was a bit choppy that day. We saw dolphins, sea lions, and a gray whale.

Wyatt, our youngest dog, has a passion for hunting all things that move. One of his favorite things to stalk would have to be lizards. At the cabin, he’s moved piles of rather large rocks just to try to snag a lizards. How he doesn’t hurt himself is truly beyond me. Unfortunately, our fire pit here has suffered the same fate as that pile of rocks at the cabin. He may be a little obsessed with lizards. What do you think?
