Munchkin’s Creative Side

Posted in Family, Homeschooling, and Thoughts

What do you do when you’re still too sick to play, but you’re feeling well enough not to want to just sit around? Munchkin likes to do crafts and draw. Today, she decided to draw some animal pictures. She went to the Jan Brett website to watch the tutorial on drawing animals, but she didn’t like doing the step-by-step process. Well, I think I spoke a little too soon about Munchkin being on the road to recovery. While she is doing better, she is still pretty sick. I’m sure the crazy weather isn’t helping anything at all. We go from the 80s to the 50s, sunny to rainy… You get the idea. We’re both dealing with sinus headaches and allergy issues as a nice layer of yellow pollen is covering everything. It’s rather frustrating as she’ll be feeling ok for a while and then she’ll crash. We’re trying some nice hot herbal tea today to see if that will help…
