Well, I think I spoke a little too soon about Munchkin being on the road to recovery. While she is doing better, she is still pretty sick. I’m sure the crazy weather isn’t helping anything at all. We go from the 80s to the 50s, sunny to rainy… You get the idea. We’re both dealing with sinus headaches and allergy issues as a nice layer of yellow pollen is covering everything.
It’s rather frustrating as she’ll be feeling ok for a while and then she’ll crash. We’re trying some nice hot herbal tea today to see if that will help loosen things up a bit. She’s congested and has a runny nose. She says that it just doesn’t make sense. How can you be stuffy and have a runny nose at the same time?? I told her that’s just how it is sometimes.
The good news is that Munchkin is able to work on some of her school work today, so we should be finished up with the school year on Thursday. We’ll be celebrating the end of the school year and her birthday on Friday. Whoo hoo!! Now, just to get her feeling better before then…

I’m sorry that your little one is still ill. I finally got rid of the “gunk” in my bronchials although I dispaired of ever doing so. It seemed to go on forever. One look at my car sitting in daughter’s driveway is enough to tell me why I was having trouble breathing. Even though I stayed inside most of the time I was sick, somehow I guess I still breathed in a bit of the green stuff.
