Why so many lapbooks lately? That’s a 2-part answer. 1) Munchkin has really fallen in love with using lapbooks as a means of learning. 2) I have more time to create the lapbooks now as we’re watching the Olympics. Munchkin wants to do a study of the states while we are doing the study of the Presidents. The plan is to study one state and one President per week. We discussed what she wanted to learn about the different states and made this lapbook. I designed this lapbook for Munchkin to be filled in throughout the year. We’ll be learning about each President. All the templates are now available for download at homeschool share. Once again, I designed the cover in my PrintMaster program. The book is a little thicker, so it doesn’t close completely. She’ll be learning about the requirements to become US President and Presidential responsibility. She’ll also be writing about states where the Presidents live and why we have a President (and not a king). She will be recording which Presidents are on the different coins and bills.
