The Terrestria Chronicles Review

Posted in Homeschooling, and Reviews

The Terrestria Chronicles by Ed Dunlop Get ready to travel back in time…  travel back to the time of knights, chivalry, quests, dragons.  But wait, this isn’t your run of the mill knights and dragons series.  This series holds a deeper meaning.  It’s an allegory written to honor our Lord as King, to bring children closer to God and serving Him, and to teach children to guard their hearts. The truth is that even though The Terrestria Chronicles series is written for kids 10 and up, I believe it would be great for both young and old.  We could all…

Advent Week One in Review

Posted in Christian Life, Family, and Holidays

This week, we read through week one of Jotham’s Journey.  If you haven’t read this book for Advent before, I highly recommend it.  Two years ago, a friend showed it to me when we started talking about Advent activities.  I couldn’t find it until last year.  Unfortunately, last year, due to me recovering from surgery, we never made it past the first 2 days.  This year, we are really enjoying our journey with Jotham. Posted in Family, and Photography

It’s been a little while since we’ve had any “little feet” around.  In fact, as we were taking these pictures, I realized how much those “little feet” have grown. Um, yes, those are my feet in the middle… Puppy wanted to get in on the picture action.  Since he’s my constant shadow, it only makes sense that he’d be with my feet. For the top two pictures…  Munchkin is on the left.  I’m in the middle.  D is on the right. For more Foto Friday Challenge, head on over to Renaissance.
