Our Christmas Trees

Posted in Holidays, and Homemaking

Yes, you read that right. We have multiple Christmas trees around our house. We have so much fun decorating. There is Christmas everywhere around the house.

We have our large main tree in the living room.  Munchkin has taken over decorating the tree.  You know your child is growing up when all of the ornaments are no longer on the bottom half of the tree.  All I did this year was put the star on the top of the tree.  Before Munchkin was old enough to decorate the tree, I had those trees that looked “just so”.  Once she was old enough to start help decorate, I let go of that idea and just had fun with the new style of tree.  Our tree is filled with handmade ornaments and our yearly ornaments.  (We each receive a new ornament every year.)

In the dining room, we have this little blue and silver theme tree.  Munchkin even decorated this tree this year by herself.  Usually, I decorate these little trees, but she was having way too much fun.  I think she did a great job on this tree as well.  I set up the other decorations around it to complete the look.  Everything here was either a gift from family or after Christmas clearance.

Munchkin’s bathroom is home to this tree.  We found this little tree in the dollar section last year after Christmas.  It was only 25 cents.  I placed it in a little box that I picked up from Michael’s dollar section on clearance for 25 cents after Christmas.  I topped it off with a little batting used as fake snow.  Munchkin hasn’t decided if she wants to add decorations to this tree or not.

This is the tree in our master bathroom.  Once again, after Christmas clearance tree and box.  It’s fun to have a little bit of Christmas throughout the house.

Munchkin has this Christmas tree in her room.  We haven’t found her regular decorations yet, so she had fun with some other decorations.  The monkey decided that he needed to try to straighten the star on the tree.  The other animals are watching…

This is the table top Christmas tree in the master bedroom.  I’m missing snow, so I went with an snowflake and icicle theme with this one.  The snowflakes and icicles are ones that I picked up many, many years ago at the dollar store.  I made the tree topper from pattern cardstock.

I hope you enjoyed the tour of the Christmas trees in our home.  You can see more of our Christmas decorations from around our home and outside here.

Your trees are so beautiful! I just found out that someone is getting me a gift card to Michael's for Christmas (ruined the surprise, but boy am I excited), so I think I'm going to save it for those after Christmas specials.:)

Enjoyed the tour — thanks for sharing a glimpse of Christmas at your house! (We're just getting around to decorating at our house… But we did get our Advent Calendar going on time!)

I'm visiting from MamaBzz and will be voting for Munchkin's tree!

    Merry Christmas!

Such sweet decorations. My sis-in- law and her husband retired from the Marines last year. I had to check out your blog when I saw. 🙂 Hope you and your family have a blessed Christmas and thank you for your service to our country!
