Gluten Free Chicken Noodle Soup

Posted in Gluten Free, Homemaking, and Photography

Munchkin’s allergies have really kicked in which means that she’s sick all too often.  Usually, she’s down for 24-48 hours, but this time, she’s been hit a bit harder.  I’m a big softy when she’s sick, so when she asked me to make her some chicken noodle soup, I couldn’t help but say yes. Celebrating Daddy’s Birthday

Project 365 – #010 Munchkin is still sick, so Daddy’s birthday wasn’t very exciting.  We still had a nice day together, and I surprised D with some gluten free peanut butter cup cupcakes.  I made some chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter butter cream frosting.  For fun, I added a peanut butter cup on top and a few candies.  We were all on a little sugar high after eating the cupcakes, but they were delicious.  We watched a movie together, and then D and Munchkin had fun making paper airplanes.  It was not the birthday that we had originally planned, but…

Mornings and Evenings with Spurgeon Charles Spurgeon is known for his no-nonsense style devotions. His devotionals are thought-provoking and fluff-free.  As a teen, I was given the older Morning & Evening devotional by Spurgeon.  I used it, but I don’t think that I truly appreciated all that was being said in the devotionals. Starting to read these newly packaged devotionals now, as an adult, I can better grasp and appreciate Spurgeon’s style of devotionals.  I like the short devotionals that contain a good bit of meat.  I can start my day with a short devotional and think about it throughout…
