Roasted Cauliflower and Broccoli

Today, I picked up our Bountiful Baskets order, and I have to say that the organic baskets were wonderful this week. We received broccoli, cauliflower, cherries, mangoes, donut peaches, mushrooms, corn, purple kale, baby bok choy, celery, and cantaloupe. I also got a box of pineapple. One of the things that we’re currently working on in our home is learning more traditional baking and cooking skills. While I do know some about preserving, I thought it would be nice to jump into learning more skills such as yogurt making, sour dough baking, and creating homemade treats for the pups. As we celebrate the Independence of our great nation, we need to reflect on how this nation was founded.
