We’re having lots of fun learning Latin with Visual Latin, but we still need more review and practice. I started out making up some vocabulary flash cards and ended up creating a game board with game pieces. For this game, it’s basically taking normal flashcard review and turning it into a game. If you get the word correct, they you get to roll the die and move on the game board.
I’ve only completed the vocabulary flash cards for Visual Latin lessons 1-10. I’ll add more cards as I get them completed. For now, we plan on at least going through lesson 30.
Here are the free downloads for the Semper Fidelis Latin Vocabulary game board and game pieces and the vocabulary flashcards for Visual Latin lessons 1-10.
Super cool! Thanks for sharing. I’m sure we’ll have fun with that.
I love this! We aren’t on the review for Visual Latin but we do First Form in our homeschool. And we love board games! This is wonderful! Thank you for sharing 🙂

What a great idea, and you made it look so professional. I know that’s a lot more fun than just drilling vocabulary words. I’m going to print a copy for my kids that are using Visual Latin.

Hi! I just ran across this on pintrest and have repinned it. I’m going to print this out and play with my son. I’m sure he’ll enjoy it. Did you ever make more game pieces for any of the other lessons?

You are awesome!!!
What a wonderful resource to share! THANK YOU!
Thank you for creating this Latin board game! I have been using it in my classroom this year and it has been wonderful! I made four copies of the game, each in a different color, and have been creating cards that go with our curriculum. Just having a game board has been wonderful!! When I need a quick game I pull out the boards (which I had laminated for longevity) and can have up to 4 students per game reviewing vocabulary, noun declensions, or any other information I have cards for. As a teacher who has too little time for new project creation, I thank you!!!
