Foto Friday Challenge: Happy

Posted in Christian Life, Family, Outdoor Adventures, and Photography

As I looked around this week and thought about the theme for this challenge – happy, I realized, once again, how blessed I really am.  A simple photography challenge put my mind in motion.  So many different thoughts filled my head.  This week’s challenge became more of a way to capture the moment of some of the things that make me happy instead of taking “the perfect” shot.

Happiness is…

Family Hike
Spending time together as a family hiking.
Munchkin and Puppy
Seeing Munchkin enjoying exploring with her furry friend.
Learning to Fly a Kite
Daddy teaching Munchkin to fly a kite.
D sleeping
Having my husband sleeping peacefully next to me at night.
Munchkin sleeping
Our healthy daughter resting quietly in her bed.
Berry Cheesecake
Delicious food to eat.

My true happiness (joy) comes from within because…

Bible
I know I am a daughter of the King of Kings.

I know that no matter what happens in this crazy life that I love I can find peace in my Savior.  I can find peace in the knowledge that my husband is a son of the King and my sweet daughter is a child of the King.  That brings me true happiness – true joy.

Thank you Rebecca for this week’s Foto Friday Challenge – Happy.  While I may not have created much “art” this time around, it really made me think and appreciate the things around me this week.

Oh Heather…I loved the shots of D & Munchkin walking away & Munchkin walking with Puppy!!! I have a picture of Billy that I took while down at Parris Island, he’s in his Alphas looking so handsome and he’s walking away from me…I was so proud of him and he looked so grown up!!! Thank you for sharing your pictures and your family with all of us!!! You have a beautiful little family ~ God Bless 🙂

  4. Hi Heather,

I loved your photos today. Sadly, our decent camera got dropped and I only have the video camera which takes so-so pictures. I really miss having a camera to capture the special moments.

    Blessings
