Foto Friday Challenge: Architecture

Posted in Family, and Photography

I have to admit that I have nothing new for this week.  I just couldn’t get out and about to snap pictures of some of the interesting buildings and homes around here.  Instead, I offer some pictures from when we were at the Grand Canyon.  All these images were taken at the Desert View Watch Tower.

    • We were at the South Rim because the North Rim was closed when we were there. We went from Hermit’s Rest (west rim) all the way to Desert View (east rim) and hit pretty much everything in between.

These are so neat. I like the second photo, but the fifth is probably my favorite. Looking up at the ceiling with the curving stairs, but you don’t see the full circle of the ceiling so that makes it really interesting.

  2. It is crazy cool to see all these pictures! I love how the people, at differeing layers, frame the circle.

You have got quite the telephoto lens there–to see your family’s faces so far up!

    Thanks for sharing!
