Munchkin Garden

Posted in Family, and Homemaking

It was still a beautiful day today even though the temps had dropped back down to the 60s. We worked on the garden some more. I moved the seating area that I had put down by the water over by the shed by munchkin’s garden.

You can see munchkin’s garden next to the shed in the background. The 2 end tables I picked up today for free. They were originally black and gold. I spray painted them white to match the other pieces. (We still need to finish painting the benches. We want them to be all white.)

Here’s munchkin with her kiddie garden tools. She loves them as they’re much easier to use in the smaller size.

Our newest addition to the garden is this HUGE planter box that I built today (from scraps from around the house.) We put in broccoli, romaine lettuce, and head lettuce plants. Then we planted cucumber seeds.

We’re already starting to see some growth with the tomato plants. A couple of the berry plants also have some green starting to bud. The marigolds must be loving the sun as they’re in full bloom now.

Well, that’s our gardening for now. We’ll keep you updated on how things are going…
