Tupperware storage containers work for me. You can see my current kitchen set-up with all my Tupperware containers here. As a military family, moving is part of our life. Which means, organization becomes a necessity as you never know what size space you might be living in.
Also, before Tupperware, it meant getting rid of most everything in the pantry before moving. Then, when you arrived at your new duty station, you needed to repurchase all of your staples. What a waste. But moving companies will pack anything that is stored in Tupperware containers. That’s right. No more throwing/giving away your whole pantry. Just store all your things in Tupperware and off you go.
We’ve also lived in many locations where bugs are a problem, so this keeps our food safe from any roaming critters.

Whoo WEe!! Seeing that is awe-inspiring! My buddy is a military wife and seeing her pack is a thing of beauty and … I’m just out of words! You all have it down to a science.
Please thank your hubby for his service.
Just hopping around on the Blog party and decided to visit.
Wow! I’m amazed at your organizational skills! 🙂
I love Tupperware containers.
WOW! I think I recently saw your tupperware set up when someone (Meredith?) linked to you. I love it! I have some Tupperware bowls and cups, but not the modular mates you have – that I have always wanted. 🙂 I suppose the money you save by not having to toss when you move makes it worth the investment. Did it take you a long time to get that huge collection?
Great tip, thanks!
Have a great Wednesday.
