Giants: Legends & Lore of Goliaths is an interactive book featuring historical accounts of giants from the Bible as well as tales of giants from legends around the world. It has beautiful images and fun facts. Flags from various countries lift up to reveal stories of giants. Pull tabs display accounts of creation, the flood, and giants. The Biblical account of David & Goliath is given in a fold-out 4-page spread. Readers will learn of other giants in the Bible as well as giants from around the world. It’s quite an interesting book featuring both fact and legends of giants throughout history.
The book is geared towards elementary aged children, but I think most ages will find it interesting. It’s a great starting point for discussions about various legends and points of view in different cultures.
