Ultimate Homeschool Radio Network is comprised of a variety of show hosts with a heart for home school families. Some shows are humorous, some are hard hitting and others are practical, or educational. There is an amazing podcast for everyone – even if you’re not a home school family. Best of all, these shows are FREE for listeners. Whether you listen in live or take advantage of one of the many archived shows, you are sure to be blessed by these resources.
One of my favorite shows is the Mommy Jammies Nights which takes place every second Tuesday of the month. Mommy Jammies Nights starts with a facebook party over on the Ultimate Homeschool Radio Facebook page where you can hang out with other moms and chat about the topic for the night. As a bonus, there are usually some nice prizes available during the party. After the facebook party, it’s time to head over to the main event page. If you attend the live event, Felice normally has a little something special to give away as a thank you for attending live. You can listen on the web or call in to listen. On the web, you’re able to chat with other listeners.
In November, the Mommy Jammies Night featured Crystal Paine from Money Saving Mom who talked about restoring balance and peace in our lives. One of my favorite quotes from that session was, “It’s the little things done consistently that matter the most.” I went away from that show with a little more motivation to be intentional about my time with my daughter and husband. It was a great way to head into the holiday season. I believe this show will be available for listening at a later date.
