My Thoughts:

I have read several of Barbara’s books in the past, so I knew I was in for a treat when I picked up this book. I have to say that this book is even better than the books the Wilton/Straight Murder Mystery Series which says a lot as that was a great series. She has a talent for hooking the reader from page one and holding their attention until the very end. There are subplots within the story that help keep the reader intrigued in a way that doesn’t detract from the main story.

I was captivated by the prologue and had to keep reading to find out what was going to happen next in the story. It was easy to connect to the characters and their struggles as they were believable and real. The elements of faith within the story were a natural extension of the characters who had a strong belief in God. I did not want to put the book down and was disappointed when the story came to a close. Why? Because I wanted to know more, and I didn’t want to wait until the next book.

Shadow Stalker is the first book in the Finders Keepers Mystery Series, so now I’m eagerly awaiting the release of the next book in the series to continue the intriguing story.
