It’s always a bummer when you can’t make it to special events for family members. D’s brother and his wife are expecting their first child, and they had their baby shower this past weekend. Seeing how they are on the other side of the country, we weren’t able to be there. What do you do when you have lots of delicious, sweet, ripe strawberries? You start incorporating them into a variety of dishes. I had already planned on making boneless, skinless chicken breasts for dinner, so I decided to add some balsamic strawberries sweetened with honey as a punch of flavor. I love the idea of being able to take my Bible anywhere, but I hate the idea of something bad happening to it. When I heard about the Waterproof Bible, I thought it could be the answer to those concerns. First Impressions: The Bible itself is completely waterproof and really durable. As in, the pages do not tear easily – at all. It’s a nice size to be able to toss it in my purse and bag. It’s lightweight, and it’s a good size for my hands.
