What do you do when the corn tortillas are past their prime, but they are still good? Well, you slice them up into wedges using a pizza cutter and fry them in coconut oil for a minute or two until they are crispy. They you place them in a paper bag that has a coconut sugar and cinnamon mixture and give it a good shake to coat the chips. Yum! If you want to make them a little extra special, use some homemade vanilla sugar in your cinnamon sugar mix.
These taste really good served with fresh fruit salsa as well. Mmmm…
Great idea! I would throw them out! (shamefaced now)

I feel guilty for throwing out food, so I always try to repurpose it when possible. Plus, we really wanted a sweet snack, and I didn’t want to bake. 😉
I might go out and buy some just so I can use up some coconut oil – would you believe I never reviewed it because I just can’t seem to get onto using it?!
