Finding Time

Time seems to be flying by as we approach D’s second surgery.

Today, we headed over to the hospital to get all of the pre-op paperwork, labs, and x-rays done.  Most of D’s information was already in the system from the last surgery, so that part went a bit faster.  Thankfully, I brought my Kindle as everything else took some time.  Friday, D will need to get more blood drawn, and then Monday morning, we’ll be heading back over for the surgery.  We’ve been told that the surgery will take basically the same amount of time as the last one even though it’s more complicated.  He will be in more pain this time, but Lord willing, he’ll end up in less pain overall since he won’t be dealing with additional issues.

We don’t know why all of this is taking place, but we’re owning this verse:

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good,

As we deal with all of these changes, I find myself needing to prioritize my time.  I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to keep up with blogging as usual or not.  Now, I won’t be giving up blogging or anything crazy like that, but my posts may not be every day as I’ve been doing for some time now.  We’ll see how things go as we take life one day at a time.
