Birds vs Monkeys!

Angry Birds – the little app that has become a phenomenon everywhere it seems – has invaded our house.  We have all 3 versions of Angry Birds on our Droid smartphones – Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, and Angry Birds Rio.  Truth be told, I don’t play Angry Birds that often.  **gasp**  You see, Munchkin has commandeered my phone for the playing of Angry Birds while Daddy plays Angry Birds on his phone.  They can often be found sharing notes, discussing different levels, and helping each other out with various levels.

When we finally had the opportunity to watch Rio, the Angry Birds Rio app made much more sense, and the phrase “Birds vs Monkeys” seemed to catch on at our house.  In fact, Munchkin decided to create the birds vs monkeys scene from the movie using some of her stuffed animals and foam blocks.  Yes, we know that there are specific Angry Birds and Angry Birds Rio stuffed animals available, but I’m enjoying the creativity of the girl.  **wink**

That being said, there have been a few hints that Angry Birds plush would make some good stocking stuffers. lol!  Me?  I’m a little concerned at what might happen if those little guys make it into the house.  Daddy and Daughter who really enjoy Angry Birds and little plush birds.  Hmmm….  Can you see where I’m going with this?

Anyway, you can see that even video games can turn into creative, interactive play around our house.  And no, the tower does not remain built.  It is, after all, Angry Birds.  **wink**
