Project 365 – #128 Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court. ~Psalm 127:3-5

Project 365 – #127 Today, I picked up our new Bountiful Baskets.  They were filled with all kinds of delicious fruits and veggies. It’s so much fun opening our organic box to see what goodies it holds for us.  We were thrilled to see some honey dew, kiwi, and pineapple this week.  What a yummy treat. I decided that we’d enjoy some of our new goodies all day.  For breakfast, I made up a nice fruit salad.  For lunch, we had turkey bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwiches.  Then, for supper, I set out to make some tasty turkey burgers. Project 365 – #126 Today, D was able to play with Munchkin on the Wii for a period of time while I ran out to get a few groceries.  Munchkin treasured this time, and I was glad that D was finally able to sit up long enough to do this with her.  Now, they weren’t playing an active game in any way, shape, or form.  Nope.  They were playing Lego Star Wars.  Our family rather enjoys Star Wars and Legos, so this is a good pairing for us. **grin** Later on, Munchkin was able to go to the pool with…

I enjoyed how Maria made the life of Christ come alive by relating their real life travels to the life of Christ.  Maria shares her heart in this book.  It’s sure to inspire and encourage as you read about…

Review: Seek and Find Bible

I admit when I first received this Bible to review I was thinking that it was just another kids Bible. You know – the ones that have been simplified and don’t contain the complete scripture.  Boy was I wrong.  The Seek and Find Bible is really cool!  It contains the complete Bible text using the Eastern Standard Version (ESV), but it also contains Bible stories and lovely illustrations. The Bible stories help summarize the scripture.  At the end of the Bible story, the actual scripture passage is given, so they can read the full Biblical account.  It also highlights a…
