Project 365 – #045* Another Valentine’s Day is here.  I delight in celebrating different holidays as it gives me another chance to do something a little extra for D and Munchkin.  This year, things are a bit different as I’ve been sick, so I don’t have any decorating done.  I have no plans for special meals or treats.  I definitely feel behind the curve today. Project 365 – #043 After receiving the delivery of roses yesterday (pictured above), Munchkin was inspired to create some roses of her own from polymer clay.  The first rose was a beautiful red rose, but since the stem couldn’t support the head of the rose, the rose kept falling off.  I recommended that she create a stem from a pencil and work from there.  After covering the pencil with green clay, she began to create a beautiful orange rose, but her new rose needed a vase. Mystery Rangers: the Case of the Missing MOUNTAIN by Kim Jones reminds me of the junior park rangers program with a twist of Nancy Drew for good measure.  This isn’t a run-of-the-mill activity book about Mount St. Helens.  It’s a book, written from a Creationists viewpoint that makes kids think.  As they unearth the clues, they begin the unravel the mystery of the missing mountain. RedEnvelope D and I had fun picking our our Valentine’s Gift with the gift certificate that we received from RedEnvelope.  We decided to get something practical and something beautiful.  I was surprised by the great selection available.  There was truly a little something for everyone.  The ordering process was very easy.
