Hiking EquipmentProject 365 – #033

The right equipment makes hiking so much easier.  Of course, being in shape also helps when you’re out hiking.  **grin**  For my birthday, D gave me these new hiking boots (Merrell Moab Mid GORE-TEX® XCR®).  For Christmas, D and Munchkin gave me these Leki hiking poles.  I’ve never used hiking poles, and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed using them last week while we were hiking.  The other gear that is essential here is a good water hydration system.  I have a nice Camelbak daypack that D purchased for me a few years ago.  Having the right gear for hiking definitely works for me.
