Emerson Creek Pottery, established in 1977, is located in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. They specialize in hand crafted, hand painted pottery that is formed from clay onsite. The artists do not use any stencils, so each piece is unique. The beautiful brush strokes create lovely patterns. After painting, the pieces are fired in a gas kiln. All pieces are both dishwasher and microwave safe. They are free from lead and ovenproof.
I received this beautiful Creeping Thyme pattern unglazed small loaf pan from their Artisan line of pottery. The 3″ X 5″ X 3″ loaf pan is reasonably priced at $11.00. The creeping thyme pattern would fit in with most, if not all, kitchen decors. I personally love that the pottery is hand crafted here in the U.S., and it’s made from non-toxic, lead-free materials. The hand painting is just beautiful. The pottery itself is sturdy and feels like it will last for many years.
I decided to try out the loaf pan by baking a couple of cinnamon rolls. They turned out very well. The charming small loaf pan made for a delightful presentation of the cinnamon rolls. These would be perfect for a special presentation of individual servings for meals.
Emerson Creek Pottery has a wide range of products in their handcrafted artisan bakeware line, including unglazed oval baking dish, unglazed loaf pans, unglazed pie plates, and unglazed bread pots. They all feature the beautiful handpainted Creeping Thyme pattern.

They are very pretty pieces, made in the USA and really reasonably priced! Thanks for the review on these.
