Currently, we’re doing a study on India, so Munchkin decided that she wanted to try to go with a traditional India costume. We headed over to the thrift store to see what we could find. We were able to pick up a shirt and pants for Munchkin as well as myself.
(We’re going to be doing a Indian dinner and will be dressing up for that, so I picked up an outfit for myself while we were out.) I found a head scarf for myself, but we couldn’t find one for Munchkin. I decided to rip apart a skirt to make a head scarf for Munchkin. Here is our end result.
I’ll post more about our India study later. Munchkin also says that I need to post pictures of myself dressed up which I’ll do when we have our dinner. At this point in time, I’m not sure exactly when we’ll be having the dinner. I still need to figure out exactly what we’ll be having and then try to wrangle up the ingredients that we’ll need.
