It’s hard to believe that the baseball season is over. Today, the weather was absolutely beautiful, and our kids had the best game of the season. They played their best, and it really showed. Everyone on the team got a hit. They all were making great plays. They were cheering for each other. They gave a great effort, and it payed off. The team really came together on this final day together. It would have been a win even if the score didn’t show it (which it did).
After the game, we handed out the cool trophies and said our goodbyes. Several teammates won’t be around next year. Some are even leaving this next week. It’s never easy to see a season end, but it was wonderful to see it close on such a good note….
