I had heard some of these songs before, but I wasn’t familiar with Shannon’s story. Shortly after starting to write the scripts for her If the Shoe Fits conferences, Shannon’s husband David was diagnosed with cancer. Shannon found her strength in the Lord during this difficult time. She was able to draw on this experience and other life experiences to create a conference series and cd that reaches out to women.
Some of these songs are fun and light while others are more thoughtful and deep. No matter what style the song, they are all meanful. Even though this is a Christian cd, I believe most women will be able to relate to many of the songs on the cd. I enjoyed this album.

Shannon Perry is a national singer/songwriter and inspirational speaker for Chae Music. Her CD’s include “Tell the Story,” “Safe Place,” and “Reflections.” Shannon’s songs have charted on national radio around the country. She has appeared on national television, and has sung with the Houston Symphony and in Carnegie Hall. With a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Shannon’s wonderful sense of humor and powerful testimony touch women in a REAL way.
