Since whole foods, like fruits and veggies, are usually cheaper than meat… a diet heavy in these and light in meats is a healthy way to live, while saving your family money too! Shopping for your produce at a farmers market also saves us lots of money.

To maintain a frugal lifestyle, you have to enjoy where you are cutting corners. For instance, stop using your dryer. You save about $20 a month and you get sunshine on your skin while you hang the wet laundry. Not to mention the wonderful smell your laundry has once it has been line dried.
