Have ever wondered how you are going to teach your kids the value of money?  Do you need a way to help organize your kids money instead of having it all over the house?  Do your kids lack motivation when it comes to money management?  Do you want to teach your kids how to plan for the future?  Would you like help in educating your child about finances?  Family Mint might be just the program for which you have been looking.

Family Mint is a free online program that teaches kids the value of money.  Whether you are using real or pretend money, your kids can learn about finances, interest, savings, and money management.  Parents set up a bank account for their kids.  They can set up different variable such as interest rates to allow kids to understand real world situations.

The child can set up different saving categories and set up goals.  The child can move money between the different accounts (with or without parent approval depending on account settings).

While this wasn’t a system that we used for our family (Munchkin has her own real bank accounts), I could see how this could be very useful for some families.  The best thing is you can try it for free to see if it is right for your family!

I am reviewing the free Family Mint online program as part of the TOS Crew.
No compensation was received. All opinions are my own.
