Crockpot Cooking

Posted in Homemaking

My new crockpot with various size crocks makes cooking much easier.  During the school week (and even on weekends), I enjoy the freedom of being able to toss some ingredients in the crockpot and forget about it until supper time.

The aroma of a hot meal fills the house without me having to spend hours in the kitchen.  On days when I’m not feeling well, I’m still able to offer filling hot meals to my family.

The crockpot is also helpful when I, uh, forget to thaw out the meat ahead of time.  I can just toss it in the crockpot while still frozen and end up with a delicious meal several hours later.  For hot summer days, the crockpot helps keep my kitchen a bit cooler.

Today, I am grateful for my crockpot.

I love using my crockpot, too, as it makes it so easy to feed our family with minimal effort.

    Have a great weekend,
    Blessings,
