Our 4th of July Weekend

Our 4th of July weekend was filled with lots of good food and relaxing. Daddy had off on Friday, so we started the day off with a yummy gluten free coffee cake that I made. On Saturday, I made blueberry muffins with a berry medley on the side for breakfast. For lunch, Daddy grilled up some steaks, and I made a berry burst cake. May we all remember how difficult it was for our Founding Fathers to set up the basis for our free nation. So much time, thought, and energy went into the writing of these documents and the structure of our nation. Would we be willing to become traitors? To put our lives on the line for our beliefs? For freedom? On the 4th of July, we celebrate the freedom of our country. As we celebrate, let us not forget that freedom comes with a price. Time Flies

I can’t believe how quickly this week has flown by. With Daddy back to work, our days are starting to look a bit different. Munchkin is now back to working on her school work in the mornings. We then work on getting things done around the house. This week seemed to be filled with lots of running around as we needed to get a variety of things done outside of the house. The good news is that we are now all set to homeschool in AZ, and our “puppy” is all registered (county and base) and up to date on…
