Our 4th of July weekend was filled with lots of good food and relaxing. Daddy had off on Friday, so we started the day off with a yummy gluten free coffee cake that I made.
On Saturday, I made blueberry muffins with a berry medley on the side for breakfast.
For lunch, Daddy grilled up some steaks, and I made a berry burst cake.
For dinner, Munchkin decided that we should have patriotic pasta, so this is what I came up with for her. Daddy decided that he wanted his pasta the same way. lol!
We took a nice long walk in the evening and decided to just watch the fireworks on tv. Maybe next year we’ll head out to enjoy some of the local festivities. This year, we just wanted to relax as a family.
