We were told that driving across Texas would be boring and that the scenery is all the same.
We’ve been amazed at the beauty that we’ve seen as we drive across this HUGE state.
We haven’t been bored in the least. (Well, at least, we haven’t been bored with the scenery. We are quite tired of driving.)
I wish I could have taken pictures as we were driving along as there were so many amazing things to see.
Tonight, we’re staying in Van Horn, TX.
The mountains are beautiful. There is some green, but not much shade. We’ve seen quite a few dirt devils. It is downright hot with a hot wind blowing. There is this beautiful little oasis in the campground.
We got a kick out of this sign.
