Settling In

Posted in Family, Military Life, and Thoughts

We finally have internet!!! I hate being without the internet as we use it for so many different things. lol!

I’m pleased to announce that we’re settling in to our new home on base. We were able to get a house as soon as we arrived here in AZ. This meant no internet, but we were happy to start to get settled. Our household goods arrived a few days after we did, so we’re now in the process of unpacking and trying to figure out where everything will go. We’ve made good progress, but it will take a little time to get it done.

Munchkin started making friends the first day that we arrived. We have wonderful neighbors who also homeschool. Their one daughter is Munchkin’s age, so they play almost every day. Munchkin is also taking part in the summer reading program activities here at the station library. Each Monday, they have different activities for the kiddos.

We had fun exploring some of the area on Father’s Day. I will try to get some pictures posted in the near future.

We appreciate all of the prayers as we travelled. We could definitely feel them. The Lord has provided for us each step of the way. We felt His hand on us.

I see God's hand here for sure; a wonderful home, neighborhood, homeschooling neighbors, a daughter Munchkin's age.

    Praise Him!!! 🙂

    I'm so happy for you!
