Pumpkin Lapbook

We did a short unit on pumpkins in preparation for next week’s field trip to the pumpkin patch. We based this lapbook on the books The Pumpkin Patch Parable, From Seed to Pumpkin, and The Pumpkin Book.

We made booklets for the Pumpkin Prayer, Pumpkins and Jesus, and The Inspiring Pumpkin that we found here. We did some pumpkin vocabulary. We made a booklet that covered the process of growing a pumpkin. We put all of the verses from The Pumpkin Patch Parable into a pocket. We found the Label the Parts of a Pumpkin, Pumpkin Patch Fractions, Pumpkin Patch Perimeters: All Around the Farm, and the Pumpkin Shaped activities (maze, pumpkin life cycle, pumpkin facts, and pumpkin questions) at Enchanted Learning.
