BFS #104 – Never Leave Home Without It

Posted in Fun, and Homeschooling

Assignment: In the memory verse Jesus tells us that He will never leave us, not even at the end of the world. He assures us in this verse that He will be with us and that means through everything we go through in life. I thought it would be interesting to write about the things we would never leave home without. For some it might be baby needs, others it might be a gym bag and bottle of water, and for some it might be your Bible and a notepad or small journal, maybe even your son or daughters favorite blankie! I’d like for you to write about something that you would never leave home without.

One thing that I have learned over the years is that we need to always be prepared when we head out somewhere. We try to never leave home without a water bottle and snack. A cell phone is pretty much permanently attached to my hip (never know when D might be able to call…) Munchkin often has Daddy Doll with her although this isn’t technically a never leave home without as that truly depends on the day. We pretty much always have tissues (allergies). Munchkin has books and various activities that stay in the vehicle to keep her occupied during outings. Other things that we keep in the vehicle include a first aid kit, blankets, and basic car care essentials.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10

Good list of things to take. I usually take my cell phone and a water bottle is a good idea. I sometimes do that.

I wish those cool Daddy Dolls were available the first couple of deployments we went through eons ago…my teens probably wouldn’t be too impressed now! LOL

Water bottles and snacks, a definite must!
