Today, I opened up the windows and began our fall cleaning. I had gotten behind on cleaning again do to a few days of not feeling well and being ultra busy. It’s amazing how quickly things can get crazy when you don’t do your normal tasks. It’s nice to have things at least semi-organized now.
Unfortunately, when I start to clean and organize, I tend to make a bigger mess. I realized that we just had too many things that weren’t being used, so I posted several (okay 14 and counting) boxes of stuff on Freecycle. I still have many tasks to do to get the house in tip-top shape before the man of the house finally comes home, but we do have some time. Little by little, we’ll get this house whipped by into shape. Along the way, we’re going to reduce the amount of “stuff” around the house.
Whew! I’m tired, but it’s a good tired as it was a day well spent.
