Lowes Build & Grow Clinics

Posted in Family, Thoughts, and Thrifty Ideas

Every other Saturday, Lowes hosts a free Build & Grow Clinic for kids. The kids get to build different projects (for free). They are given safety goggles, an apron, and the project. Upon completion of the project, they receive a certificate of completion and a patch to put on their apron. This month, they are featuring a Memory Box (for Mother’s Day) on May 10th and a See It Grow Planter on May 24th.

We usually just pick ours up and take them with us. This allows us to do them on our own time.

Home Depot also offers a free Kids Workshop on the first Saturday of the month. The kids receive an orange Home Depot apron, the project, and an achievement pin. This month they are featuring a Flower Pencil Holder on May 3rd. On June 7th, they will be featuring a Catamaran.
