I admit that I’m very behind in posting this, but I have a good excuse of being away from the computer. I still wanted to do this assignment as I thought it was a good one.
My goals for this year a fairly simple, yet I always seem to have difficulty in achieving them for one reason or another…
1. Get our home organized and keep it that way. I will be starting with the living room this month. I will be trying to organize at least one room a month to “surprise” D with a clean home when he comes home for a short leave in several months. With each room that is organized, I get to go buy something special to decorate the room or use in the room.
2. Buckle down with Munchkin’s schoolwork. It’s way too easy to allow the extras to go by the wayside as we get crunched for time. It’s the fun extras that make schooling so much fun. Those are the things that tend to help Munchkin remember what we are learning. Our reward is more fun time together!!!
3. Focus more on my time with the Lord. The last few weeks while I was away I got away from my normal time with the Lord. I need to get back into that routine. It makes a huge difference in my daily life. My personal time with the Lord needs to take top priority in my life. My reward isn’t monetary on this one; it’s the peace that I receive from the Lord from our time together.
Don’t worry about being late on this…lots of us have been praying about it and waiting for direction/answers before we post our final post.
You’ve done a great job setting goals for this year though! I can easily lose direction and focus when DH is gone…
glad your trip was so much fun for you guys!

Great goals!!
It was fun to catch up with you. Looks like Christmas was fun (sorry Munchkin was sick 🙁 ), and the Creation Museum looks interesting. I hope we get to go there someday.
Great Goals. I want the same… an organized home and school routine. Oh I pray I can accomplish them.

Haven’t gotten around to it yet so I thought now would be the perfect time to welcome you home. I missed you while you were gone but it looks like you had an amazing time! Oh my-I turned GREEN with envy when I saw all the creation museum pictures! Some day I hope we can go there too! MAYBE someday-there will be more than just ONE!?!? Wouldn’t THAT be something!
Anyway. WELCOME HOME and so happy to hear you had a happy Christmas!
