Thanksgiving Lapbook

Posted in Holidays, and Homeschooling

Here’s are first real attempt at doing a lapbook. Munchkin and I had fun putting it all together and decorating it. We decided, in an attempt to actually complete it, that we should glue all the parts in before filling them out. Over the next 2 weeks, we’ll slowing do all of the activities and fill in the little books.

We’re doing the lapbook as part of our Thanksgiving unit study.

**edited to add: This is a Live and Learn Press lapbook. It is free if you want to check it out. They have several lapbooks that they offer for free. One of the things that I love about this lapbook is that it has an answer key. We then added pictures and clipart.**

That is FABULOUS?!? Where ever did you get all the ideas of what to include? I tried ‘supersizing’ your photo, but it wouldn’t allow me to see EVERYTHING but I did see things like “How to say Thank You in other languages” and “Map the Voyage”. Very cool and VERY clever!

I loved how it had SEVERAL tabs instead of just one folders worth of space.

I think you and your girlie did an outstanding job-I never EVER would have guessed it was your first lapbook!

Fabulous job!! It’s really beautiful. 🙂

I’m with Rebecca – tell me more. Did you design it yourself or did you have a model to follow?
