Thankful Thursday

Posted in Family

And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness. There fore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in my infirmities… For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9, 10

This week I am very thankful that we were able to talk to D. We weren’t expecting to be able to talk to him for at least a month, so this was very much a blessing. We were even able to chat via computer a couple of times.

The Lord has brought wonderful people into our lives to make this time a bit easier for us. Munchkin was able to enjoy a fun birthday party after her soccer game on Saturday. Today, she was able to have fun with a good friend at an art workshop. They will do the same tomorrow. I enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship this afternoon when I dropped her friend off at home.

Munchkin also was able to have fun at the Wednesday night program at church.

The Lord has continued to bless us during this time of separation. We have been blessed by all of the prayers being said on our behalf. The Lord is good.
