Make It From Scratch Carnival #17

It’s hard to believe that it’s already Tuesday! Boy is time flying. Joanna over at Keeping Feet has done a wonderful job as the guest host of the Make It From Scratch Carnival. Tackle It Tuesday: Gluten Free Kitchen

This week’s tackle is an interesting tackle (at least for me). Since we’re going gluten-free at our house, I need to go through the fridge, freezer, and pantry to pull all non-safe foods. Eventually, our whole house will be completely gluten-free, but for now, I need to move all that unsafe stuff out of the kitchen. D will then be able to grab whatever out of the fridge, freezer, or pantry and know that it’s safe. We’re doing whatever possible to make life easier for him. I won’t be throwing out the food. I haven’t participated in Meal Plan Monday for a while now, but it’s time to get back in the swing of things. D is starting a gluten-free diet, so menu planning is going to be critical (especially until we get the hang of things). We’re keeping things simple for now as we’re just learning how to go gluten free. Breakfasts for D will consist of:1. Gluten free pancakes2. Fruit3.
