Thankful Thursday: This and That

Posted in Family

It’s been so long since I’ve been part of this, and I’ve truly missed it. This week will probably be long. lol!
1. I’m thankful that we’re finally at our new home. We’re slowly, but surely getting everything unpacked. It may be a while before we’re truly settled in, but it’s wonderful to be here.
2. I’m thankful that our garden is doing wonderfully. We have lots of lettuce. The tomatoes (while still green) are doing well. The peppers are blooming. We have lots of herbs. The onions are almost ready. The cucumbers are growing. We’ll be adding more as time and weather allow.
3. I’m thankful for all of the beautiful weather that we’ve had, and I’m also grateful for the rain that we’re currently receiving.
4. I’m thankful for a wonderful family. I enjoyed our time away together. It was a real blessing for us.
5. I’m thankful for strawberries. We went berry picking on Wednesday, and the berries are wonderful! I’m also thankful for freezer jam as that made my job of making homemade jam much easier.
6. I thank the Lord for all of His wonderful blessings and for the beauty of nature.

Oh – I love a fresh vegetable garden. We used to grow cucumbers, but haven’t for a while. I love fresh herbs too – cool that you got everything going at your new home.

It is always nice to have time away from all the hustle and bustle of life.

Thank you so much for sharing with us this week–glad to have you back.

Blessings on your Sunday and always.

Welcome back to TT! I’m glad you are getting settled in–even if it is slow.

Strawberries are some of my favorite food, too. Yum!
