What is that saying? Count your blessings one by one? Well, when I came across Thankful Thursday, I knew that I needed to participate. So often we truly forget to be thankful for all that God has given us. Munchkin and I have both been working on this.
1. I’m thankful most importantly for my salvation and for the salvation of my family.
2. I’m thankful that my family is currently together. We treasure this time when we’re not seperated by distance.
3. I’m thankful for the food that is currently in our home. We do not know the true meaning of being hungry. I pray that we never will.
4. I’m thankful for the warm home that we live in today as well as the home that we’ll be moving to in a few short months.
5. I’m thankful for friends and family. We may not always see eye to eye, but it’s during those times that you learn more about yourself and others.
We’re blessed so abuntantly in many ways. We need to make sure that we’re praising God and letting Him know that we appreciate His wonderful blessings.
Thanks for being so thankful, bless you always.
I amalso thankful for number 3. Soooooooo thankful. We really are sooo blessed.

Oh, those are just wonderful and true things to be thankful for. We all need to “get back to the basics” and should never forget those things. God bless you!
And I am thankful for your husbands service and for your support of him. Thank God for the real heroes.

I have to say that I don’t know what real hunger means. I have been blessed my entire life to have always food on the table…
It is so important to remember how well off we really are compared with much of the world today. thanks for this post. 🙂
